Toddlerhood is a time when children start to develop their curiosity about their environment and the people around them. At Once Upon A Time Child Care Centre, our toddler curriculum encourages a toddler’s need for exploration and it is based on the belief that children learn best through fun, active, and engaging activities.
Our toddler curriculum is based on engaging and developmentally appropriate activities designed to support early development. Learning domains include social and emotional development; physical and motor development; creativity and arts; and cognitive development.
We provide toddlers with various opportunities to learn and play in an age-appropriate, safe, and fun environment. In our toddler classrooms, you will be able to find art and sensory materials, play areas, puzzles, and other material suitable to match their developmental needs at this stage. Rest is also incorporated into a toddler’s daily routine. *Learn more about our Toddler & Preschool Rest Time & Safe Sleep Supervision which you can read about in our Parent Handbook.
